ui vis bugs and theme[edit source]

hey man, the editing interface is not friendly, especially with the current theme colours. the syntax highlighting of the editor is black text on dark grey fill. there's bits of the ui where the buttons have white fill with light grey text or light grey fill with white text. these are virtually impossible to read.

also, why the old colours from the previous forest game? sons is pushing a whole new colour scheme with all their promo material, specifically this shade of red#ba0b0f, and the only other yellow that exists anywhere is from the loading screen where it is using more of an orange#f49200. shouldn't we use the game's theme colours? otherwise it just looks off.

that's all for now, cheers -- mc_abber (talk) 22:10, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

I hear ya, a lot of css was placeholder since it was made before release and also buggy from the fork from Fandom. The editing interface in particular is a bit difficult to fix but I'll keep looking at it. Unfortunately using the red color isn't a great idea for links because red links are standard for a nonexistent page on mediawiki. The orange might work. We should definitely get the red logo up though. If you're willing, could you make a list of those UI bits that have contrast issues outside of the editing interface? That would help me work on it more quickly. Thanks! -Grendal27 (talk) 22:45, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
