Flora

Flora refers to the plants and trees within the world of Sons of The Forest.

Harvestable

Trees

Trees can be found throughout the island. They can be chopped down with an axe or chainsaw, and will drop a varying amount of logs depending on their size. They include Birch, Maple, Oak and Spruce.

Bushes

Bushes cover the forest floor of the Island. They can be cut to get leaves and sticks. (see below)

Berry Bushes

• Blackberries- can be found around the island. Can be eaten and collected, drop seeds.
• Blueberries- can be found around the island. Can be eaten and collected, drop seeds.
• Devil's Club- can be found around the island. Can be eaten (but is poisonous) and collected, drop seeds.
• Guarana Berries- can be found around the island. Can be eaten and collected, drop seeds.
• Salmonberries- can be found around the island. Can be eaten and collected, drop seeds.
• Snowberries- can be found around the island. Can be eaten (but is poisonous) and collected.
• Twinberries- can be found around the island. Can be eaten (but is poisonous) and collected.

Mushrooms

• Fly Amanita- can be found around the island, can be eaten (but is poisonous) or harvested.
• Hydnum Repandum- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested.
• King Oyster- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested.
• Shiitake- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested.

Herbs

• Aloe Vera- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested, used in various crafting recipes.
• Arrowleaf- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested, used in various crafting recipes.
• Chicory- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested, used in various crafting recipes.
• Fireweed- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested, used in various crafting recipes.
• Horsetail- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested, used in various crafting recipes.
• Yarrow- can be found around the island, can be eaten or harvested, used in various crafting recipes.
