How to update the wiki (patch release guide)

Update history is on Steam and SteamDB.

1. Create update page with title/number given by Endnight.
   1. Bullet points can be added to each line via notepad++: Using regexp search option in find & replace, Type ^ in Find box, then * in Replace box.
2. Current version: update Template:CurVersion and Template:CurVersionDate.
3. Upcoming scheduled update: update Template:CountdownMP with approx. date and time.
4. If it has major changes, update Template:MajorChanges and Template:CurMajorUpdate.
5. Update Template:Versions (navbox).
6. Add to the above table.
   1. Build ID is found inside the app.info file located in installation-directory/_Data.
   2. Or you can simply go to steamdb website.
7. If a major update or new plans/roadmaps were released, update Sons of the Forest#Major Updates (leave field empty if not found).
8. If there was some video or trailer that came out with the update, add it to Trailers and replace a video in Template:Featured videos.
9. Add patchnotes to Patchnotes Formatted.
   1. For major updates, this is most easily done with Notepad++ and Find & Replace function (or some other program that can do it). Once the update page is created, copy it into a new n++ text file. Remove the headers & extra lines, then find and replace * with | [[Update #]] || , then with the extended search option replace \n with \n|-\n to complete the table formatting.
