Bones are a crafting component in Sons of the Forest
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Bones are both an abundant and useful item in the game, allowing the player to craft both armor and a vast selection of furniture. Although several different types of bones can appear in storage or on prefab structures, it is technically a single item; when dropped onto the ground, bones will take the appearance of a humerus no matter what type it was when picked up.
Locations[edit | edit source]
- Naturally found in several locations around the Island. They are peculiarly abundant in caves.
- Obtained from burning cannibal corpses by dropping them on a campfire.
- Found by breaking clay pots and jars in cannibal villages.
- Breaking cannibal effigies will drop two or three bones.
