Golf Cart
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Golf Cart in Sons of the Forest is a battery-powered vehicle designed for quick and convenient travel across the island. It provides a reliable alternative to walking.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Golf Cart enables fast movement over flat and moderately rough terrain, making it useful for traveling between key locations. It runs on power, meaning energy management by leaving it exposed to sunlight is necessary to keep it operational. While not built for combat or extreme off-road conditions, it serves as an efficient way to cover long distances with minimal stamina use. After 6:00pm, the Golf Cart will fall back solely on its battery power, pulling one unit of energy every 30 seconds of use. It will only switch back to solar next morning at 6:00 am, replenishing one unit of energy every 30 seconds when the Golf Cart is left unused
Tips & Tricks[edit | edit source]
- Best suited for open areas and paths, as rough terrain may limit maneuverability.
- Use it for quick transport between camps, bunkers, and other important locations.
Variants[edit | edit source]
There's currently 2 variants of the golf cart:
- The normal, blue golf cart found in most areas of the game.
- The white golf cart, found around the mountain area. The white cart is a little wider than the normal golf cart and has a snow plow attached to the front, otherwise all stats remain the same. The snow plow actually works as intended and creates a path in the snow, although it mostly just limits maneuverability, and offroad capability as you can't drive over rocks as easily and get stuck on terrain more often. Note: out of the 31 carts that can be found around the map only 4 of them are the white variant.
Worth It?[edit | edit source]
The Golf Cart is a useful vehicle for traversing the island quickly and efficiently. While power-dependent and limited in off-road capability, its convenience makes it a valuable asset for exploration and resource management.
