The Knight V (pronounced 'knight five') is an electric unicycle (or EUC for short), a type of rideable vehicle added in Patch 03. It is found in various locations throughout The Island.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The Knight V can be mounted by picking it up and pressing Primary Use (default: Left Mouse Button). The Knight V cannot be stashed or put in the inventory. From there, the directional keys will allow to accelerate, brake/reverse and turn. Players may also jump with the Knight V, allowing them to clear a respectable distance with enough momentum. The Knight V can be dismounted at any type by double-tapping the jump key, leaving it where it was on the ground. If the player hits low obstacles at high speed (such as rocks or fallen trees), they will be thrown off the Knight V. This does not inflict any damage to the player, even if they are thrown off the edge a cliff (so long as the animation is still going). Riding the Knight V into sufficiently deep water will cause the player to automatically dismount it. Although it will remain afloat, it can be difficult to bring back to dry land.

Although fast, the Knight V has a limited torque, and will significantly struggle on harsh slopes and be unable to climb excessively steep ones. This will significantly reduce its reliance in more mountainous areas.

Attempting to use the Foldable Glider or a zipline while riding a Knight V will automatically dismount it. When carrying the Knight V, its headlight will still function, offering a weak but unlimited source of light in dark areas.
