The Putter is a weapon in Sons of the Forest.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
The Putter is a weapon a lot like a golf club, you can swing it at enemies or use it to put Golf Balls into the abyss. Looking down gives a unique swinging animation, likely intended for finishing enemies in a comical way, or for putting golf balls. The Putter has a very low base damage, which cannot be increased by performing charged or ground attacks. Its purpose is more that of a novelty weapon rather than something for combat. And it's iconic enough.
Obtaining[edit | edit source]
Several Putters can be found around the golf course, usually by crashed golf carts and golf bags.
A Putter can be found lodged in a corpse in one of the apartments of the apartment bunker which requires a Maintenance Keycard to access.
