Barbara Puffton

Barbara Puffton is the wife of Edward Puffton.

History

Barbara Puffton was a socialite and spouse of Edward Puffton. Edward seemed rather distant from Barbara, leaving her out of his will and stating her as his "spouse" between brackets. She also seemed to occasionally act as a business assistant to Edward, relaying his orders and directions to employees. After moving to the Island, Barbara became concerned about her husband's behavior, namely his recurrent visions about strange worlds and an impending disaster from his own mistake. She confided her worries to her old friend, Doris, via a letter correspondance. Although empathetic, Doris would be overwhelmed by the seemingly nonsensical ramblings and deflected the subject.

Barbara was present at the reception held in the banquet hall. She would therefore meet her ultimate demise along with the other guests, condemned to roam the Food and Dining Bunker as a mutant alongside her mutated husband. Jack Holt encounters them while exploring Holosprings, putting an end once and for all to their misery.

Gameplay

Barbara acts as a mid-game boss, attacking as a duo with Edward Puffton. She is a significantly stronger, nimble and faster Puffy, posing a significant challenge to the player.
