Crafted Spear
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Crafted Spear in Sons of the Forest is a versatile melee weapon and ranged weapon. It's crafted early in the game using 2 Sticks, 1 Duct Tape, and the Utility Knife. It’s effective for both stabbing enemies up close and throwing at targets from a distance. You can carry up to 5 spears at once, making it a handy weapon for hunting and survival.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Crafted Spear is great for both melee and ranged combat. Its fast attack speed compensates for its lower damage, allowing you to strike quickly or throw it at enemies. The thrown spear deals more damage, especially when aimed at weak spots, and can temporarily stun enemies. It’s also useful for fishing, allowing you to catch fish directly from the water.
Tips & Tricks[edit | edit source]
- Carry multiple spears to maximize your damage output when engaging in combat.
- Use the spear's long reach to safely attack enemies from a distance, minimizing your risk.
- Spearing fish is a quick way to gather food, especially early in the game.
Worth it?[edit | edit source]
Definitely! The Crafted Spear is an essential early-game weapon that offers flexibility in combat and utility for hunting and fishing. While it’s not the strongest weapon, its range and ability to stun enemies make it a reliable choice for survival in the early stages of the game.
