Log Sled

The Log Sled is a mobile storage building added in Patch 05 of Sons of the Forest.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
Log Sleds can be used to transport and carry a variety of resources. Logs or stones can either be manually loaded by interacting with the Log Sled, or simply thrown into as they will be automatically stored on the sled. Pushing the Log Sled into a pile of logs or stones does not allow to load the sled. To push the Log Sled, the player must grab the handlebar at the rear by holding Take (default: E on the keyboard). Alternatively, Log Sleds can be physically pushed, by the player and NPCs alike. Log Sleds will float in water, regardless of how filled they are, allowing players to easily push them back to shore.

This more elaborate variant can store a much wider variety and quantity of items; not only can it carry 12 logs or 18 stones, but it also features four compartments in which sticks or bones can be stored, for a total capacity of 160 sticks and 100 bones. It also features skull lamps as "headlights". Although very expensive to craft, it is arguably one of the most practical and versatile storage units in the game.
