Similar to the Katana, the Machete is a melee weapon in Sons of the Forest. It cuts through bushes with ease, enemies less so, however it holds the ability to parry and block, like The Katana. You can find this one on the beach, from the left facing the Rebreather cave. It will be found in a boat along the shore among a camp.
For an initial weapon it swings fast and makes for an upgrade to the Utility Knife.
