The Emergency Pack is an introductory item in Sons of the Forest.

Gameplay

The Emergency pack is a clear zipper bag received after the intro cutscenes at the beginning of the game. Putting the Emergency Pack in the middle of the inventory and pressing the cog will add these items to the inventory and consume the Emergency Pack:

• Tactical Axe
• GPS Tracker
• Walkie Talkie
• Lighter
• Guide Book
• Utility Knife

Items contained in the Emergency Pack are considered "essential" by the game. Therefore, should the player lose any of these for any reason, they will be automatically re-added to the inventory upon loading the save. The Emergency Pack is obtained only at the beginning of the game and can't be obtained any other way (except through cheats). However, adding the Emergency Pack in the inventory via console commands will break the crafting system and render it unusable, even if the pack is removed afterward.
