The GPS Tracker is a geolocating device used to navigate the Island in Sons of the Forest.

Gameplay

The GPS Tracker can be toggled with its own key bind (default: M on the keyboard). The player can then consult their position on the Island's map, the number of days passed, as well as the current time. When entering a cave or a bunker, the map feature becomes unavailable due to the signal not being able to reach underground.

The GPS Tracker' map will also display key locations and active GPS Locators. Initially, the only active markers on the GPS Trackers will be that of Caves and the location of Team B members. Bunker markers can be unlocked by interacting with the corresponding map laptop.

Vehicles such as the Knight V, the Portable Glider and the Golf Cart will also appear on the GPS Tracker if the player is sufficiently near.
