Eric LeBlanc
Eric LeBlanc is the original Protagonist of The Forest and now a deuteragonist in Sons of the Forest. He is the father of Tim LeBlanc. Before the events of the first game, Eric was a renowned survival show host from Canada and a dedicated family man. After the tragic death of his wife, he raised his son, Timmy, alone.

Eric and Timmy crash-landed on a peninsula in The Forest, where Eric had to rescue his son from a mutant cult. They managed to escape, but Timmy suffered severe mutations. Eric later exposed Sahara Therapeutics human experiments, though his claims were largely dismissed.
In Sons of the Forest, Eric joins a now-adult Timmy in searching for a cure for Timmy's mutations. During a confrontation in the Residential Bunker, Eric is shot by Jianyu Zhang. Despite his injury, he flies Timmy to the Luxury Bunker before leaving the island for medical treatment. He later returns with the police for the game's final ending.

In Sons of the Forest, Eric appears older, with grey hair and a mustache, and he no longer has a beard. He typically wears a collared white shirt under a grey jacket, paired with jeans and boots.

Eric is shown to be a resourceful and resilient character, maintaining a strong bond with his son despite the hardships they face. His role in both games highlights his determination to protect and cure Timmy, driving much of the narrative forward.
